Clayton Kershaw Suffers Just His Second Setback
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw allowed five runs - four earned - and seven hits with no walks and seven strikeouts over seven innings in a loss against the Colorado Rockies on Saturday. Kershaw slipped to 7-2 with a 3.23 ERA, throwing 64 of his 89 pitches for strikes, including just 15 first-pitch strikes to the 28 batters he faced. After the Dodgers won 12 consecutive games in this series, the Rockies have turned the tables for the last two. Kershaw will look to rebound on Friday night against the visiting San Diego Padres.
