Clayton Kershaw Suffers Sixth Loss
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw saw his record fall to 8-6 with Wednesday's loss versus the Philadelphia Phillies. Kershaw pitched well enough for a quality start, but not enough for a win. The lefty tossed six frames and allowed eight hits, two runs, one walk and struck out nine on the evening. Kershaw simply got outdueled by Zach Wheeler in this matchup and managers have no reason to be concerned. Kershaw will look to get back in the win column versus the San Diego Padres on Tuesday.
