Clayton Kershaw Could Start Playing Catch Next Week
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (forearm) said he could start playing catch next week, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Kershaw has been on the injured list since July 7 and has been taking it slow on his way back. Plus, the Dodgers are in no rush to bring him back and are using this time to give him a little break. Before the injury, Kershaw was his usual dominant self, producing a 3.39 ERA, 30.1 K% and 4.5 BB% while giving up 13 home runs in 106 1/3 innings. Fantasy managers should continue to stay patient with him and expect him to continue being a pretty safe starter when he returns to the rotation.
