2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw (back) "got checked up" on one of his warm-up throws in the fifth inning and told trainers his back tightened. According to manager Dave Roberts, he will undergo tests back in Los Angeles on Friday but isn't sure of the severity. The southpaw allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk while striking out four in his four innings before exiting. Kershaw has had a history of back issues, and a trip to the injured list "is not out of the question," per Roberts. Overall, Kershaw has been solid this season, posting a 2.66 ERA, a 0.98 WHIP, and an 84:14 K: BB in 81 1/3 innings. Stay tuned for further updates.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
