6 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Clayton Richard collected his sixth win Saturday against the Atlanta Braves. Richard left the ballgame trailing but the Braves bullpen implosion presented him his fifth win in the last seven tries. Richard completed six innings, allowing three runs (two earned), six hits, two walks while fanning six. In those seven starts, Richard is riding a 2.98 ERA and 0.95 WHIP. By eating up innings and staying competitive, the veteran has firmly entrenched himself in the streamer discussion. His 7.4 K/9 won't turn many heads, but Richard is worth a legitimate look on a weekly basis.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
