4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier could start in center field soon, per manager Aaron Boone. Frazier, who has made 153 career starts at the corner outfield spots in the majors, could try his hand at center. The Yankees have been seeking a regular at that position since the injury of Aaron Hicks (wrist), and Frazier could be a logical option given that he played some center field in the minor leagues. At the very least, it would give the 26-year-old some more versatility in the outfield and a chance at more consistent playing time, something that evaded him in the early parts of this season. Frazier owns an underwhelming .608 OPS with four homers and a pair of stolen bases in 38 games this season.--Tim Capurso
