Clint Frazier To Remain In Everyday Mix Moving Forward

4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder/designated hitter Clint Frazier will remain a cog in the team’s everyday lineup, even upon the activation of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton during the upcoming week, manager Aaron Boone confirmed Monday. With Stanton likely to take over designated hitter duties and Judge to hold down right field, Frazier is likely to slot into left field with Aaron Hicks and Brett Gardner splitting center field. Frazier has performed admirably in 28 contests this season, delivering a .904 OPS while ranking among the top-six percentile of all batters with a 47.6 hard-hit percentage. With everyday playing time, Frazier is a season-long commodity in nearly all formats over the final two weeks.--Jesse Borek
