Clyde Edwards-Helaire Making Progress
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) is making progress and is expected to get in some work this week ahead of the wild-card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Edwards-Helaire suffered a shoulder injury in Week 16 when the Chiefs played the Steelers, and he's missed six straight practices and the last two weeks of the regular season with the injury. We'll keep a close eye on the 22-year-old practice status this week, but it sounds like he has a good chance at returning after taking some time off to heal. Darrel Williams (toe) is also dealing with a toe injury, but his injury isn't serious, so if CEH misses a third straight game, Williams should be able to handle most of the backfield work against a porous Steelers run defense.
