4 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) was held out of practice Thursday, thereby throwing his status for Sunday's game versus the Raiders into flux. Since Edwards-Helaire's breakout game in Week 6 against Buffalo, he has seen a sharp downturn in production as Kansas City has both focused more heavily in the passing game, while also acclimating Le'Veon Bell to the offense. Having seen just 25 snaps last week versus Carolina, Edwards-Helaire's fantasy outlook was on the downturn prior to any type of injury news, with his absence from practice Thursday working as another mark against him. He'll be a risky RB2/Flex option even if he eventually gets the green light to suit up.--Jesse Borek
