Clyde Edwards-Helaire Quiet In Week 8
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire was quiet Sunday afternoon versus the New York Jets. It was all Patrick Mahomes in the Chiefs victory Sunday. CEH only rushed for 21 yards on six carries and caught three balls for 10 yards. The good news for Edwards-Helaire owners is that Le'Veon Bell only rushed six times, but backup running backs Darrel Williams and Darwin Thompson also chipped in for seven carries. Bell remains the biggest competition for the rookie, but CEH should remain the top option out of the Chiefs backfield heading into a Week 9 battle against the Carolina Panthers.
