Clyde Edwards-Helaire Returns To Reality In Week 2
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire had an explosive Week 1 in his NFL debut last week, but returned to earth in Week 2 against the Chargers. The rookie was the lead back out of the backfield, but only saw 10 rushes for 38 yards at 3.8 yards per carry. The positive news for Edwards-Helaire was that he was featured in the pass game and caught six balls for 32 yards. Edwards-Helaire already has strong value and if he is able to carve out a consistent role as a pass catcher, he could become a top-5 running back. Edwards-Helaire will look for more opportunities in a tough matchup versus the stingy Baltimore Ravens Defense in Week 3. He should be treated as a low-end RB1 for now.
