6 years agoIndians relief pitcher Cody Allen earned his 23rd save of the season Sunday against the White Sox. Allen has had a rough year thus far, so it is optimistic for owners to see him closing out games recently. The addition of Brad Hand has placed extra pressure upon Allen's shoulders as he now must navigate with the fact that there is a capable replacement behind him. Manager Terry Francona is notable for his funky bullpen work, so seeing Hand get the nod in certain matchups is to be expected.
