3 years agoBuffalo Sabres center Cody Eakin (undisclosed) won't be available for Friday's match against Boston and is also expected to sit out Saturday's meeting with the Devils. The 30-year-old got hurt in Wednesday's practice and head coach Don Granato has said that Eakin will be out for a couple of games. The 2015 world champion was off to a decent start to the season before getting injured, recording a goal and an assist with seven shots in the team's first three games of the campaign. It looks like he'll be in contention for Monday's clash with Tampa. He'll officially be day-to-day after the weekend.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
