3 years agoNew Orleans Saints kicker Cody Parkey (groin) is heading to the injured reserve with a groin ailment. Parkey sustained the injury during the pregame of Sunday's win over Washington and attempted to kick through it, though he had an uneven performance, making 3 of 5 extra points. With Wil Lutz' (core) return reportedly around the corner, the 29-year-old Parkey would be on the outside looking in even if he were healthy. New Orleans' kicking situation continues to be a dire one for fantasy purposes- as they'll likely have to bring in a fourth kicker if Lutz is unable to return off their Week 6 bye.--Tim Capurso
