4 years agoMiami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Cody Poteet (knee) was activated from the injured list and will start Friday's game against the Chicago Cubs. Poteet was forced to leave his previous start with a knee injury, but made it through the rehab process without a hitch, throwing a few bullpen sessions but not even making a rehab start. Poteet started five games, posting a 3.75 ERA (3.28 xERA) in 24 innings. He proved to be a worthwhile streaming option but may be limited in how deep he can go into this game. He should be back on the streaming radar next week assuming he makes it out of Friday's game without reinjuring his knee.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
