4 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Cody Reed (hand) has been transferred from the 10-day injured list to 60-day injured list while he continues to deal with numbness and weakness in his hand, according to Marc Topkin. Manager Kevin Cash said that Reed has not yet seen a specialist for this issue, but the team expects him to be out for a while which led to the move. Reed had been a solid pitcher in SV/HLD formats this year, recording three holds in 12 appearances while posting a 3.72 ERA and seven strikeouts in 9 2/3 innings of work. Any managers who were rostering Reed can now safely drop him to the waiver-wire.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
