3 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Cody Reed (arm) underwent thoracic outlet surgery on Wednesday and will miss the remainder of the 2021 season, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. Reed had been expected to miss extended time after being transferred to the 60-day injured list two weeks ago, but now he'll start working his way towards a return in 2022. Any managers that had him rostered should have already dropped him by now, but there is now zero reason to hang on to him in any redraft format.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
