3 years agoCole Custer brings up the rear for Stewart-Haas Racing and carried some solid speed in shorter five- and 10-lap runs on the Richmond track. He had a lap of 22.52 seconds as his fastest. That competes well with Joey Logano and even Ryan Blaney. The concerns were when Custer ran out to 10 to 15 laps. His lap times went well into the 23- to 23.5-second range. That could be troublesome as the race goes on. Custer may have trouble holding onto his position and could fall some places as the intensity of the final stage heats up.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
