3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Cole Hamels was placed on the 60-day injured list on Monday night, according to Juan Toribio of MLB.com. There's no word on what the injury is, but it officially ends Hamels' season before it even began. Hamels was supposed to throw a two-inning simulated game a couple weeks back, but it was shut down after one inning. It was unlikely that Hamels was rostered in many formats to begin with, but he can be dumped to the waiver wire now.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
