5 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Cole Hamels (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Tuesday in the hopes of coming back to make one more start this season. Hamels played catch Sunday and apparently felt good enough to progress to pitching off a mound. Hamels could be shut down if the Cubs are eliminated from playoff contention, but if he pitches this weekend he wouldn't be a recommended DFS option anyway against a good Cardinals lineup.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
