3 years agoOakland Athletics pitcher Cole Irvin (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday. He is dealing with shoulder tightness and will miss at least the next two weeks. The 28-year-old owns a 2.93 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and an 18:7 K: BB over 27 2/3 innings in 2022. Oakland has yet to officially announce a starter for Friday's game against the Minnesota Twins. Zach Logue is the favorite to draw the start and be called up ahead of Friday's game.
