Cole Kmet Week 7 Outlook for Fantasy Football

3 years agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet will try and build off a promising performance in the team's Week 6 loss to the Packers. There was plenty of buzz about Kmet coming into the season but that quickly fizzled by posting only 17 receiving yards combined through Week 2 through Week 4. Kmet re-emerged last week, catching four of his five targets for 49 yards last week. The second-year tight end will now face a Buccaneers defense that is allowing the ninth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Tampa Bay has surrendered four touchdowns to tight ends over their last four games. The Bears will certainly need to throw more than they have in previous weeks and Kmet has a shot at some red zone targets in this game. Despite his arrow pointed in the right direction, Kmet will be a touchdown-dependent option, at best, in Week 7.--Joey C - RotoBaller
