3 years agoFree-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who hasn't played in the NFL since he started kneeling during the national anthem in 2016 to protest racial injustice, is scheduled to work out for the Las Vegas Raiders this week, according to league sources. Kaepernick has most often been connected with the Seattle Seahawks, but he worked out last November for eight different teams. The 32-year-old said he's open to serving as a team's backup if it means another shot in the NFL. In Las Vegas, Kap would be competing with Jarrett Stidham and Nick Mullens for the right to serve as Derek Carr's backup in 2022. It remains to be seen if Kaepernick has anything left in the tank, but it would be cool story to see him finally get another shot in the NFL.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
