5 years agoBuffalo Sabres defenseman Colin Miller, acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday, is excited for his new opportunity in Western New York. "I think it's going to be a great opportunity. Seeing what Buffalo did last year through a healthy stretch of the season...it was very encouraging for the city of Buffalo and for the team. I'm excited to take on a little bit more of a role than I had in Vegas and try and help the team in any way I can." Miller has the potential to be one of the team's top two rearguards with plenty of work on the power play. The added responsibilities and potential bump in production might nullify what is sure to be a drop in plus/minus rating.--Daniel Dobish
