Colin Moran Exits Game After Being Hit By Pitch
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates infielder Colin Moran (wrist) exited during the first inning of Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies after being hit by a pitch on his left wrist. Moran took infield warm-ups in the following bottom half of the inning but came out of the game to be treated and evaluated by the team. The 28-year-old has battled injuries throughout the month of June but has been decent when healthy, hitting .270 with four home runs, 23 RBI and 11 runs scored, so fantasy managers should sit tight and wait to hear if Moran will miss extended time. Phillip Evans shifted from outfield to first base once Moran was taken out of Monday's game. Ben Gamel entered the game and took Evans' place in left field.
