7 years agoAfter a quiet first series with his new team, Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Colin Moran greeted his new fans with a grand slam in the bottom of the first inning on Monday against the Minnesota Twins. It was his only hit of the day, but it proved to be huge in a narrow 5-4 win that kept Pittsburgh unbeaten. The round-tripper was Moran's first in a Pirates uniform and second of his career. Moran hit a personal-best 19 home runs in 86 games between Triple-A and MLB last season, and he's worth a look in deep fantasy leagues if he can maintain that power as an everyday starter in 2018.--Matt Wilkes
