3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates infielder Colin Moran's (wrist) initial imaging came back clean. "The initial imaging was clean, so I think we'll go with that until something feels differently or until we need to do something else," said manager Derek Shelton. The 28-year-old was hit by a pitch on the left wrist Monday. He was out of the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Rockies. Moran appears to have avoided a serious injury and is considered day-to-day. The Pirates infielder is slashing .280/.346/.414 with four home runs, 23 RBI, 11 runs scored, and one stolen base across 174 plate appearances in 2021.
