3 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Collin McHugh (arm) was activated from the 10-day injured list on Saturday, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. To make room for him on the roster, the Rays optioned pitcher Louis Head to Triple-A Durham. McHugh landed on the injured list due to arm fatigue at the end of July, but prior to that he was one of the top arms in Tampa Bay's bullpen, going 3-1 with a 1.51 ERA, 0.912 WHIP and 36.6 percent strikeout rate over 41 2/3 innings of work. He'll be a solid option to roster in SV/HLD formats and on teams where managers need a boost in ERA and WHIP.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
