3 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Collin McHugh (arm) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Sunday with arm fatigue, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. McHugh has been lights out as a reliever this year, going 3-1 with a 1.51 ERA, 0.912 WHIP and 36.6 percent strikeout rate over 41 2/3 innings of work this year. With a description like "arm fatigue" it's hard to determine just how long he could be out. Managers who had him rostered should stash him on the IL until he returns, as he should be able to continue providing a boost to ERA and WHIP. With McHugh out, the Rays have recalled reliever Ryan Sherriff to replace him in the bullpen.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
