6 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Collin McHugh pitched five innings, giving up three hits, two earned runs and one walk while striking out nine in the 3-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. This was McHugh's first start on the season and he gave a promising showcase to his fantasy owners with his nine strikeouts. Last year he had 94 strikeouts in 72 1/3 innings pitched, so strikeout upside could be a possibility for him this season. The Astros remain one of the strongest teams in the league and wins should come for him. He remains a solid asset in deeper formats.--Caden Inaba
