7 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Collin McHugh's salary-arbitration hearing is scheduled for Tuesday in Phoenix. The right-hander asked for $5 million, but the Astros countered with $4.55 million. McHugh's 2017 season was essentially lost after he didn't make his season debut until July 22. When he did pitch, though, he was better than he was in 2016, and he has bounce-back potential for fantasy owners as rotation depth in 2018. He may be pitching elsewhere, though, as he's been the subject of trade rumors as spring training approaches. If McHugh stays with Houston and is pitching out of the bullpen, he won't have much fantasy intrigue.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
