4 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Colt McCoy will officially be the starting quarterback for Sunday's game versus Cleveland after the organization decided to rule Daniel Jones (ankle, hamstring) inactive for the contest. McCoy, a former Brown, is making his second start of the year, but can firmly be avoided in all fantasy scenarios aside from contrarian single-game DFS lineups. Even against a historically exploitable Seahawks secondary earlier this year, McCoy was able to compile just 105 passing yards, with his presence under center likely knocking key offensive cogs such as Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, and Evan Engram down a peg in appeal. Jones' next chance to take the field comes next week against Baltimore, a matchup he'll have a chance to start in should he prove to be healthy throughout the week.--Jesse Borek
