Colt McCoy's Day Marred By Turnovers
6 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy put forth an admirable effort in his Thanksgiving Day start, tossing for 268 yards and two touchdowns against Dallas. Unfortunately he also threw three interceptions in the loss. The Redskins had a hard time containing the Cowboys offense, and as a result McCoy, was forced to air it out a little more than the team normally prefers. The positive takeaway here is that if McCoy can cut back on the turnovers, the Redskins shouldn't experience a significant drop-off at the quarterback position without Alex Smith. Of course, for fantasy owners, that doesn't mean the Redskins passing game figures to become trustworthy in lineups.
