3 years agoThe St. Louis Blues have re-signed defenseman Colton Parayko to an eight-year contract extension. The deal totals $52 million, which will pay him $6.5 million per year. The huge hard-hitting Parayko scored two goals and 12 points in 32 games played this year. He is known as one of the best defensemen in the NHL, but he can show his offensive side if needed. Throughout his career, Parayko has shown consistency, and his point paces have been steady. In four of his six seasons, he has averaged at or near 35 points over an 82-game pace.
