Colts Agree To Terms With Brandon King
3 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts and special teams veteran Brandon King agreed to terms on a one-year deal. The former New England Patriot, King was sidelined by a quad injury for the entire 2019 and 2020 seasons but returned to action for 16 games in 2021. He was used sparingly on defense but played most of his snaps on special teams, logging 52 regular season tackles and a forced fumble in 2021. While perhaps not a big splash that Colts fans were hoping for with considerable salary cap space, King was a special teams mainstay for head coach Bill Belichick when healthy and brings championship experience to a team looking to make a run. While he fills a void left by Matt Adams signing with Chicago, King likely adds more value to the Colts than he does for fantasy and does not figure to be a factor in IDP leagues.
