Colts Bring Back Matt Pryor
3 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts are re-signing offensive tackle Matt Pryor to a one-year, $5.5 million deal on Tuesday, according to a source. Pryor will have a chance to make $6 million in incentives. The Colts acquired Pryor just before the 2021 season for some picks, and he ended up serving as valuable offensive line depth in his first year in Indy and even started five games. The 27-year-old mostly played right tackle, but he also spent time at left tackle and right guard and earned high marks from Pro Football Focus. The former sixth-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018 out of TCU will stick around with the Colts for at least one more season. In 44 career games in three NFL seasons, Pryor has started 15 games.
