6 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts signed running back Jonathan Williams to the practice squad on Tuesday and waived running back Jeremy McNichols in a corresponding move. Williams had three carries and one catch in three games for the Saints this year. With Robert Turbin coming off suspension, McNichols was no longer needed on the active roster. Marlon Mack has a shot at returning this Thursday against the Patriots, and rookies Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines will also remain involved in this frustrating committee backfield. Turbin will start off in short-yardage situations and will likely be fourth on the depth chart.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
