3 years agoWashington Commanders running back J.D. McKissic is expected to remain with the organization in 2022. It was reported earlier in the week that McKissic wants to return to Washington. Now, it sounds like the feelings are mutual as John Keim is reporting Washington wants to bring back the impending free agent. The 28-year-old struggled with injuries, but played well whenever he was on the field. McKissic has been an excellent receiving option for Washington over the last two seasons. His ability as a pass catcher is likely why the team wants to keep McKissic around long term. Antonio Gibson is expected to remain the lead back in Washington. Jaret Patterson has likely earned himself a role, but it might be a reduced one with McKissic possibly returning. There should certainly be value for McKissic in PPR formats, assuming he returns to Washington next season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
