Connor Joe Drives In Three Runs In Thursday's Win
3 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman Connor Joe went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI, two walks, and a run scored in a 13-8 win over the Reds on Thursday. Joe got the Rockies going with an RBI double off of Luis Castillo in the bottom of the first inning. He would then tack on two more RBI with a single in the bottom of the fourth. He also drew two walks in the high-scoring affair. The 28-year-old is now batting an impressive .400/.609/.467 over his first 14 at-bats since being called up. He's bound to regress at the plate but he could stick on the roster if he continues to hit well, even after C.J. Cron returns from his lower back strain.
