Connor Joe Goes Yard In Loss To Seattle
3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Connor Joe 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, two RBI, and a strikeout in a 6-4 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. Joe smashed a Marco Gonzales offering deep to center field in the fifth inning to put the Rockies on the board. It was a two-run shot and the very first of Joe's career. He also doubled later in the game as well. Joe was recently called up from Triple-A for the third time this season and could see some regular playing time moving forward if the Rockies become sellers at the upcoming trade deadline. He doesn't offer a ton of fantasy upside with his lack of power but he's slashing a decent .254/.353/.356 with one home run and eight RBI over 27 games this season.
