He was rocked by a big hit from Alex Ovechkin just seconds into the second period. Murphy has been skating on the second defensive pairing for Chicago, logging the third-most ice time on the team with 21:43 per night. He's been a big force on the defensive end with 48 hits and 48 blocks in 22 games, adding two points to his tally.
