3 years agoBoston Red Sox pitching prospect Connor Seabold has been recalled to the major league roster. He'll make his MLB debut on Saturday against the White Sox. A former third-round pick of the Phillies, Seabold was dealt to Boston at the 2020 trade deadline. He went 2-3 with a 3.67 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and .201 OBA through eight outings at Triple-A this season. The right-hander, who ranks 13th on MLB Pipeline's list of Red Sox prospects, offers a mid-90s fastball and effective changeup that features late fade.
