Cooper Kupp Deals With Muscle Strain In Leg Ahead Of Week 1
4 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is reportedly battling a strained muscle in his right leg above his foot, but the ailment isn’t expected to impact his status for Week 1 against the Cowboys. Kupp is in line to see an extended role in the team’s offense this year following Brandin Cooks’ trade to the Texans. Having broken out in 2019 with 94 receptions for 1,161 receiving yards with 10 touchdowns, Kupp has become a favored target of quarterback Jared Goff. So long as the injury doesn’t impact Kupp’s status, owners can continue to target him as a WR2 in most season-long drafts.
