6 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson is in line for a versatile role in coach Matt Nagy's creative offense heading into this season. Patterson could be in line to see some snaps in the team's second preseason game against the Giants on Friday. But don't expect the Bears to show off all of their tricks in the preseason, an area where the team is hoping Patterson can thrive. The Bears frequently called shuttle passes, reverses and flashed big formations in the red zone last season. Patterson has the speed to score anywhere on the field and showed last season on the Patriots he can handle carries out of the backfield. Patterson's fantasy value will be tied to touchdowns and may not legs as a fantasy starter, but certainly will be fun to watch.--Joey C - RotoBaller
