3 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson carried the ball 14 times for 60 rushing yards and a touchdown, adding two catches for just one receiving yard in Sunday's 30-28 win over Miami. After three straight 100-scrimmage yard games, Patterson faltered a bit with just 61 yards, though he managed to salvage his day with the score. Perhaps more importantly, he seized control of Atlanta's backfield, handling 16 touches to Mike Davis' four. Patterson is a strong RB2 for a Week 8 tilt with Carolina- currently ranking 18th in rush DVOA.--Tim Capurso
