3 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson emerged as an elite fantasy option last season, primarily because of his versatility in playing multiple positions. Yet, Atlanta Falcons reporter Michael Rothstein believes the veteran may play most of his snaps as a wideout during the 2022-23 campaign. The 31-year-old had 618 rushing yards, 548 receiving yards, and 11 total touchdowns last season. However, as the team grows even more desperate for help on the receiving end, it may be a sensible move, especially for a player who's getting up there in age, at least by NFL standards. Still, with Matt Ryan no longer on the roster, Patterson could see a substantial drop in production, although he should have some impactful outings throughout the year.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
