3 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) is still being evaluated for the injured ankle he suffered in Sunday's blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and according to Tom Pelissero, it does not sound like he will be available for Thursday night's game against the New England Patriots. There's a chance he could miss a couple of weeks. Wayne Gallman carried the ball 15 times in Week 10 after Patterson's early departure from the game, but Mike Davis should still see a significant share of the backfield touches in his absence. The Atlanta offense could struggle to move the ball without their two best playmakers in the lineup, so neither running back seems like a must-start option moving forward. It could be a split backfield between Gallman and Davis, which likely limits both of their upsides.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
