3 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson will face a stout run defense against the Saints in Week 9. Patterson racked up three straight 100-scrimmage yard games but has slowed recently, though he managed to score touchdowns in each of the last two weeks, salvaging his fantasy value. New Orleans' run defense, which has allowed the fewest rushing yards to backs this year, should ensure that the veteran has no room to run, though Patterson's expected volume in the passing game sans Calvin Ridley (personal) should be enough to give him a high floor this week. He's more of an RB2 this week than surefire RB1.--Tim Capurso
