3 years agoThe New York Giants have released running back Corey Clement. The 26-year-old was competing with Devontae Booker and Eli Penny for the Giants' backup running back spot behind Saquon Barkley. New York will roll with Barkley, Booker, and Penny as their top running backs. Clement rushed for 86 yards on 18 attempts over three games during the preseason. He logged 21 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown while hauling in five receptions for 25 yards over 15 games for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020.
