6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement isn't expected to make much noise in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons. Clement will be the main backup for starter Jay Ajayi and will also mix in on third down plays along with veteran Darren Sproles. Clement is a high-upside running back for the 2018 season and could put up excellent numbers if Ajayi is forced to miss time, but as long as Ajayi is around, Clement won't be more than a middling option in PPR leagues. Especially against a solid Atlanta run defense in Week 1, Clement is not a recommended start until we can see how the Eagles backfield shapes up behind Ajayi.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
